Foreclosures & Short Sales in Delaware
Working on a short sale for a client and yesterday i received the call we have been waiting on. The bank has ordered 2 BPO's (Broker Price Opinions). Now my dilemma - If BPO's are not allowed under Delaware law unless you are potentially listing the property, than how come they keep doing them? Well to play devils advocate i can say that the Realtor doing the BPO is only doing one with the potential to list the property. How can this be a true value if the only benefit to the BPO Realtor would be if the sale does not go thru short? Well I can only say that hopefully there are Responsible Realtors still out there doing these BPO's. Only time will tell. If anyone is looking for help in the Delaware Real estate market with the sale of a home that is no longer worth what they owe please feel free to contact me and i will try to help them thru it, even if it does not result in a sale for me.
